Don't worry though, we're going to do free shipping on these at least in the beginning to get the good word out.. We'll hook you up. Wow had no idea anything like that was going on. Their product is what worked best for me. What is the lawsuit all about?? Grenco, the creator of the original G-pen successfully sued the companies who counterfeited their products and the stores that were selling them.
So now the owner of CC is back on his kick about suing every person who uses a closed loop extraction system unless they pay him a licensing fee, because he filed a patent for the design, even though he didn't invent the original equipment. Basically just a patent troll. I normally heat them up a bit with a torch to get the last bit to drip out then soak them in a bit of proof alcohol then rinse really good with hot water and air dry upside down.
So far this has worked great for me. There is a little like rubber O ring on the mouth peice part that sometimes comes off. You just need to make sure you stick it back on or the juice will go up into your mouth when you hit it and it will spill when laid down.
Doesn't taste good at all lol. How many times have you been able to clean a out a cart like this and re-use it? I've never heard of this being done before.
These carts do have a wick btw, you just can't see it becuase it's inside the coil chamber behind those two intake holes. Didn't realize they had a wick in there too. I got a really nasty taste with the plastic ones where you can actually see the wick maybe it was just bad luck on that one.
I've reused one of them like 3 times now and it's still going strong. I believe the old carts where you could see the wick was using a silica wick. I was told these carts you are using have fiberglass wicks inside the coils, so maybe they don't burn as easily? Who knows what material they are though..
Either way they work amazingly well! That sucks you had a bad taste with the holy terp. I tried the strawberry and it tasted good. And I'll probably try the pineapple and flavorless. I'll definitely shy away from the cinnamon bun though as well as try the connoisseur concentrates in the near future. Also thanks for the ISO wash tip. I have had some trouble having the trim run stuff I get messing everything up.
I use Holy Terp Pure for my. I prefer the flavorless so I can taste my rosin. The blueberry flavor was nice the tangerine reminded me of cleaning solution. What we will say is this: If you are only picking one option, choose a tool capable of being versatile when it comes to handling concentrates of differing consistencies. Once all your equipment is in place, turn on the torch and make sure the flame is hitting the nail. In fact, too much heat can reduce the quality of CBD. When the nail is hot enough, switch off the torch and place the glass dome over the nail. If you use quartz nails, allow them to cool for 45 seconds; for titanium nails, the waiting period is just 10 seconds.
Use your dabber to grab the correct amount of CBD concentrate and add it directly to the nail inside the dome. Inhale the vapor slowly and rotate the dabber tip on the nail to avoid wasting oil that could be stuck to the dabber. Exhale, enjoy, and repeat until satisfied. Although it is not a precise measurement, experts state that if your nail has a red-hot glow, it is probably more than 1, degrees Fahrenheit!
If it has a pale red glow, it is still in or around the degree mark. If you add the CBD concentrate to a nail that is too hot, you will destroy many of the things that make CBD so amazing.
In reality, the optimal temperature for dabbing is between and degrees Fahrenheit, as this is the boiling point range for a lot of terpenes found in marijuana. For example, terpenes such as Linalool and Humulene have boiling points of degrees, while a-Pinene has a boiling point of degrees. If you have money to spend, you should invest in a dome-less nail or an e-nail. Rather, it contains numerous tiny holes that ensure the vapor goes straight through the piece.
It allows you to not need a dome or a torch, which are pieces of equipment considered the most dangerous aspect of dabbing. We advise you to sit while taking a dab, since the rush of THC can be physically intense. Turn on your torch and aim the flame directly at the nail.
Most people will heat the nail until it begins turning red-hot. Once the nail is hot, turn off your torch and place the glass dome over the nail. Take your dabber, apply the dab directly on the nail inside the dome, and inhale slowly. Rotating the dabber tip on the nail can help you prevent wasting any oil stuck to the dabber. Take caution when handling them, and always wait for all pieces to cool down before you even think of touching them. Experienced CBD users claim that no other consumption method can compare to dabbing.
Had a bottle a friend gave me and I took three and flushed the rest right after. A supplier causes addiction and I don't have one of those so I wasn't very worried about trying the oxy.
I don't know what to tell you. I'm pretty healthy in most other regards. No IBS or anything like that. Don't have any significant health problems or digestive problems really, pretty damn healthy for Haven't noticed any difference in anything with any other medications, or food or anything..
THC just seems to effect me completely differently when smoked. I don't really drink alcohol at all, or hardly ever. Maybe that has something to do with it, my liver is too strong or something. Or lack the proper enzyme to process it properly. Kinda like how most Asians lack that liver enzyme to properly process alcohol so they turn red Don't know..
My cannabinoid receptors are already over-saturated? I get high perfectly fine from smoking so I stick with that. Smoking weed for 20 years is definitely not it, been smoking weed for 25 years, chronically, and edibles work for me I don't understand when people say " weed edibles get me so high and couch locked for hours", the edibles I make don't couch lock you, they make you trip.
I want to feed you one of my edibles so bad , if mine don't fuck you up nothing will. I wish I could overnight you one of my brownies lol Fuck man we gotta get you high from an edible!! I think most people don't know what a potent edible is.
Edibles are nothing at all like smoking weed. I am a heavy smoker and edibles will always have me knocked. The only time I have seen drugs being "blocked" were due to certain medications people were on, but never thc edibles.
I am glad I found this thread. I too have the same exact issue. I am going to paste below what I posted in another forum the other night because I am starting to think this is purely a liver enzyme issue but who knows. So after this experience last night with no results at a pretty high dose I got to thinking and remembered seeing a few things in my health data related to my body not being able to metabolize some medications, drugs, and lipids. I am no geneticist so most of this info is a little confusing to me, but I think I may be onto something here.
I noticed that it is related to the Cytochrome P enzymes which are responsible for metabolizing thc into OH-THC which is what causes the high with consumed edibles. Which means I am a fast metabolizer of caffeine and other drugs "resulting in faster breakdown of drugs metabolized by CYP1A2 and the possibility of insufficient drug concentrations in the body to yield much therapeutic benefit".
This is also related to the same family of P enzymes as above. So what I am really curious about is if anyone else with the same non response to edibles has had one of these tests done and can confirm if they also exhibit this same genetic traits that are showing on my reports. Perhaps there is a way to inhibit these enzymes, similar to how grapefruit juice and antacids react with opiates which will allow our bodies time to metabolize more efficiently so we stop wasting our money time and time again hoping for different results.
I am going to continue research into the science behind this and would love some input and thoughts on this.
Omega 3s are said to help repair cb receptors, and mangos which has been spoken about. I guess it is time to start testing. Do u have kids shroomism? U should give your kids edibles when they are and see what happens. I got an idea. Hire a chemist to convert thc to delta-thc as in the thc form that is naturally made in the stomach from enymes then eat that. Would u do it shroomism? I have been reading all night and this is the best info I can find so far but here are 2 good links that explain how enzymes metabolize thc in your body.
Still wonder if more than one enzyme plays a roll in this since the artical don't mention the enzymes I mentioned above but they're all in the P family. But as far as CYP2C9 goes, apparently there are some herbs, drugs, and meds that inhibit this enzyme and slow down down the breakdown of the thc which should make the high stronger.
Most seem pretty nasty with the likes of ssri, antibiotics, statins, etc. Not things I would experiment with. The only exceptions seem to be quercetin which is a flavonoid from plants and veggies but may be a weak inhibitor, and Apigenin which is said to be a strong inhibitor and is also flavonoid which also has protective qualities.
I just ordered a bottle of Apigenin as well as biopeperine to increase absorption. I will be testing this out while there are some gummies left from the same batch.
Look forward to updating you guys most likely Monday. Washed it down with some mango juice 45 min prior to eating gummies. I ate the same 8 gummies as last time. I felt a little something coming on about and hour in but was short lived and went about my day as normal. No red eyes or munchies as well. I don't think this is a quality issue because 3 friends ate a single gummmy and were very baked.
It also can't be a tolerance issue because I have not smoked in almost 3 weeks. Cimetidine is an antacid. Quercetin also inhibits CYP2C9 inhibitor. Mangos contain myrcene which is said to allow thc to more easily cross the blood brain barrier.
So if inhibiting these enzymes to slow down liver metabolism of thc isn't really helping, what gives? What else can be causing this? The only thing left to try is the apigenin and also Amentoflavone which are both said to be strong Inhibitors. If that doesn't work, I giving up on edibles. Also I don't want to be screwing around with my liver and enzymes any further than doing these 2 tests, even though these supplements are pretty safe as long as you are not on any kind of medication which I am not.
Just a word of caution: I know this is a very old post, however I did not see any actual scientific reasoning to why you don't get stoned. Including myself, a certain percentage of the population does not get stoned when they ingest cannabis.
Even some gluten and lactose intollerances can prevent the intestinal cillia from properly absorbing fats and oils. Now lets say you're perfectly medically fine, and maintain a good diet. Some people lack the actual enzymes to break down cannibis in the liver. There are also potential medicinal interactions, as we aren't your doctor. Do a 23 and me DNA test and go though it with a doctor.
I would be interested int the results, as I have the same weird tolerance and found out I have IBS in the process. Ooou, a DNA sequencing on people who cant stoned from edibles would be super interesting. I'm one of em too. Been trying since the late 90s.
Never once have been significantly affected. And i've eaten lots and lots of the strong stuff too. I've watched other people green-out and literally become completel paralyzed while i got no more than slightly drowsy from 3 or 4 times as much.
I still try every once in a while. Maybe someday my body chemistry will change and it'll finally work. And your first one! No chrohns, IBS, gerd or lactose intolerant that I know of. I don't eat a perfect diet by any means, but I try to eat healthy even though I love sugar. I have a really weird diet style actually, but it works for me. I tend to not eat anything or very little during the day and eat most of my food in the evening or late at night. One big meal late and snacks throughout the day.
I'm almost never hungry enough to eat breakfast in the morning. I know I have a 'stomach of steel' as other people comment because I can eat practically anything without getting too stomach upset like some people. Unless it's just plain nasty. Gut problems or missing liver enzymes is the best guess I've been able to come up with, you're probably spot on there. I have a weird gut.
I actually did get DNA tested recently through a company my work hired No mutations were identified. This means no pathogenic or likely pathogenic genetic variants associated with an increased risk of colorectal, male breast, melanoma, pancreatic, prostate, or stomach cancers were identified in any of the 30 genes analyzed. This result does not eliminate your risk of developing cancer.
Inherited mutations explain some cases of cancer, but most are not inherited and can not be explained by a single cause. Some non-genetic factors that can influence cancer risk include environment and lifestyle, as well as family history without a known genetic link. Your healthcare provider can help determine how your screening plan might be influenced by your health history and other factors.
Genes that were analyzed: Do u have any unique mixed ancestry by chance? Pretty standard American euro trash. I am certainly not a statistician but I can say I personally know about 12 people who have the same experience. Some of them are people who cannot AT ALL get high from edibles and a few need insanely high dosages without having built up a tolerance. Several of them have been clients that I recommended cannabis edibles for who told me they do nothing for them.
Another one of them is my brother in law and one of them is my best friend. If I had to make a guess I would say that it has to do with metabolism, and ones digestive system, and maybe other factors related to auto-immune disorders. My brother in law for example.
If he and I smoke a joint YET he can eat mg of an edible to zero effect. Meanwhile I can outsmoke him anyday and I am over here having a freak out if I eat more than 10 mg! I am super sensitive to edibles! To the point where sometimes I will feel as though I am no longer stoned only to wake up in a cold sweat 2 hours after going to sleep!! He also has Crohns disease which is a severe intestinal autoimmune disorder.
Part of the way that impacts him is that he cannot get certain vitamins from his foods, caffeine doesn't seem to impact him in the same way either.
For him I would say it is a digestive issue. My sister has Crohns and she needs a higher edible dosage but it does absolutely work for her at mg. My best friend on the other hand. She needs mg to feel anything. She needs like mg to get high. She also has an auto-immune disorder but not Crohns or digestive related!
She finds that edibles made from sativa do nothing and she gets a better response from indica and hybrids. I find all of these things very interesting and I wonder if there could be a cannabis study on people who feel like edibles do not work for them.
That is really interesting. You probably have a very strong stomach acid that can break down THC or something similar. It obviosly works when you smoke so if you get it into the system it will work, ie. THC into the bloodstream. Putting something with THC up where the sun never shines would probably work.
Thinking it's down to your gut environment, absorption and that. Are you, by nature a skinny person, the kind of person to which weight gain just never happens? Possibly you're naturally indisposed to absorbing fats and oils? Have you tried any sort of other injestion method besides inhalation and eating them? Like, are there any sort of sublingual pot related things you can try?
Generally if you can get something that absorbs via the sublingual route then you can rule out a ton of body functions that could be the impairment of you getting impaired. Obviously as you know I haven't had anything to do with weed since before we even met, back in the dark ages of cannabis, so I have no idea if anyone has invented anything of the sort yet or if its even possible for THC to pass sublingually.
Ill fix it minyana.. It's been a while, but I'm pretty sure I recall sublingual cannabis tincture working to a degree.. Will have to give it another try sometime. I don't think sublingual gives quite the same effects as eating it though Quote: Like other people have gotten upset that I can eat whatever and still be skinny as fuck My metabolism is absolutely insane.
If I eat too much junky food late at night, my body will flush it out by the morning.. Like I can wake up completely drenched from head to toe with soaking wet sheets. Luckily that only seems to happen rarely.. Other people have also commented that I have a stomach of steel and can eat things that would give them crazy heartburn or bloating or whatever.
Edibles have only worked on me once when I was around 18, and had no idea what to expect. I thought I was going to die, I could feel every cell in my body and the blood flow through my veins, my heart felt like a drum inside my chest.
Also had lag from my brain to motor functions, anything I wanted to move would move 3 seconds later. I then slept for a good 10 hours and woke up a little high.
These brownies were from homemade special oil as well. I've try a few edibles every year just to see if anything happens and still nothing so far. I realize this is a bit of an older topic but I wanted to ask anyways: Do you drink alcohol at all? Have you tried taking strong edibles following a short fast 8 - 12 hours? Or, better yet, even following the breaking of a short fast with a small, light snack such as a few crackers? What's your diet like?
Do you take any medications or supplements daily or close to it? I'm the same way OP. There has been well over 15 times where my friends and I make our own edibles or have gotten them through other friends and they are all borderline tripping rolling around on the ground, laughing at the dumbest shit and falling a sleep while I'm sitting there sober as fhug.
I've heard it all, edibles were not strong and your friends are high on placebo, you didn't eat enough, you didn't use enough weed, the edibles you bought were bunk. My friends and I all had at least years of cannabis use so we were no noobs. The only time I was able to get high off edibles was when I broke my 5 months no-smoking break.
I ate 2 MEGA buttery cookies my friend made each with 2. I waited for about 20 to 30 minutes and smoked a big bong bowl. I tired the same dosage with the exact same batch of cookies a week later after not smoking the enitre week and had no effect.
I should mention before my 5 month tolerance break I was smoking like So I guess all I can say would be find a recipe that calls for insane and ungodly amounts of butter, take a long tolerance break and do not eat anything before you go to bed and the day of dosing.
I have never really got high from edibles either. I have had oil my friend would make. I have made butter. I have also tried gummies before and nothing.
I heard that its almost hallucinogenic. Doesnt do shit for me. I just take one hit of some good weed and get pretty high. I have never hallucinated from psychedelics either.
Everyone does edibles all wrong. Even with my high ass tolerance, this is what works for me: I just won't fuck with anything lower than mg but if I'm using it for sleep I will go with or mg.
I can handle up to mg but I find that it's just a waste and causes my tolerance to skyrocket too much. Eat a light meal, calories or less. If you eat the edible directly after eating, it will be mixed in with all your other food and won't absorb into your intestines.
If you eat the edible on an empty stomach, you can get sick and it also won't really work. Waiting an hour after you eat something will leave your stomach empty enough so that the weed can go into your digestive tract efficiently. I forgot where I read this but everyone else attested to it and validated that it worked. Chew it real good and get a lot of saliva in it. Saliva helps to digest food so that your stomach acids can dissolve it more easily.
Initial effects will start 1 hour after ingestion but the peak will not come for about 2 or 3 hours AFTER the initial effects come on. It's sort of like acid in this regard where you sort of think it's not kicking in but then it sort of surprises you a couple hours later.
You definitely did not read the thread. I've also heard it all. You don't know how to do edibles, blah blah. I've eaten like 5,mg on an empty stomach and get nothing. Then take like 2 hits off a bowl many hours later and get fried. You want to talk about wasting weed. To the point where I'm gagging because I can't choke down all the ganja food.
Hour and a half.. Tell me how I'm doing it wrong. This has been going on for a good 15 or so years now, I've given up and tried again like 20 different times.
